Dr. Dunn holds a B.S. in Communication Disorders from Penn State University, a M.S. degree from Howard University in Speech Pathology and a Doctoral degree from Capella University in Educational Leadership and Management. She has worked in the field of Special Education in PGPS and MCPS for over 20 years. She has a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion in the development and use of curriculum in schools. She has created educational materials aimed at focusing on DEI.

Terri holds a B.A. in Sociology from Virginia State University, a M.A. in Education and Human Development from George Washington University, and an Post Graduate Certificate in Educational Administration from Trinity Washington. She has been a high school Special Education Teacher in the Prince George’s County Public School System, a Special Education Department Chairperson, and a Special Education Instructional Specialist totaling over 25 years of Special Education experience. Terri’s lifelong passion for students with unique learning styles has also led her to facilitate professional development for both Special Education and General Education teachers. Terri has been a mentor and coach for teachers who desire to become Special Education Certified

M.Ed Keisha Marvin

Keisha D. Marvin possesses 22 years of educational experience leading for equity and ensuring high student achievement in urban school districts. Ms. Marvin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in African-American Studies and English Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Masters of Education Degree In Teaching and Cross-Cultural Studies/Language Acquisition. A former English teacher, Ms. Marvin has designed intervention curricula and taught all levels of secondary English to include Honors English 9 & 10, Advanced Literature & Composition, and IB English 11 & 12. She has a proven track record of leading system-wide professional learning around Anti-Racist Pedagogical best practices that lead to equitable teaching and learning outcomes.

M.Ed Amy Hunt

Training Specialist, Math Division

Amy holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a M.A. in Education from Johns Hopkins University. She has been a high school math teacher in the Montgomery County Public School System since 2001. Amy is well versed in all sections of Geometry, Algebra, and Pre-Calculus in addition to helping students prepare for all math sections of the SAT and ACT tests. She has worked to create and refine math teaching materials in both the school system and at an SAT/ACT private preparation company, Prep1on1.

Debbie is an experienced and passionate elementary school teacher with over 20 years in the field of education. A proud Howard University graduate with a BS in Elementary Education, she has dedicated her career to nurturing young minds and fostering inclusive classrooms. Beyond her classroom work, she’s trained hundreds of teachers as a staff development teacher, sharing her expertise and commitment to quality education. Debbi’s passion extends to writing, where she focuses on promoting diversity and inclusion. She’s the author of six inspiring books, each designed to celebrate and highlight the beauty of diverse cultures and perspectives. Debbie’s dedication to both teaching and writing reflects her deep commitment to creating a more inclusive and understanding world for future generations.

Dr. William Dunn

Regional Operations Director

Dr. Dunn has a B.S. degree from Longwood University, a M.S. degree in Therapeutic Recreation from University of Maryland University College and a Doctoral degree from Capella University in Educational Administration and Leadership. Dr. Dunn is an Adjunct Professor at Montgomery College and currently serves on NBC News Community Action Board and The Montgomery College Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. He is also the recipient of the 2024 Joseph Biden Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for Service.

Her expertise lies in identifying funding opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and managing scholarship programs with precision and integrity. Taylor Jacobs

Stem Outreach Coordinator

Taylor holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a M.End. in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Taylor works as a Senior Systems Engineer in Defense and has a passion for S.T.E.M. outreach and initiatives. Taylor is a Black Engineer of the Year Science Spectrum Trailblazer awardee for her commitments to empowering the youth and the advancements made in her career.
